Learn to Quilt 101
This comprehensive 6-week class will cover the use of quilting tools, including rotary cutting basics, accurate measuring, piecing the top, borders, backing, machine quilting, and binding. Learn to Quilt 102
The goal of this class is to build your piecing and cutting skills and introduce these new techniques: Flying Geese, Quarter Square triangles, Square in a square, Curved piecing, Setting blocks on point, Sashings, Cornerstones, and Mitered borders. Punch Needle
This is easy, portable craft is making a comeback! Like miniature rug hooking, punch needle creates a textured pile using embroidery floss instead of wool. The basic technique will be mastered in the beginning of the class, along with unique stitches later into the class. Call to schedule an appointment.
Needle Felting
This craft has become more popular with wool crafters. Needle felting can be added to a felted wool knitted purse, homemade felt, or a felted wool panel you want to embellish. Several techniques will be shown during class. Call to schedule an appointment
